See Spot Play offers online and in-person dog training and nose work coaching. I help dogs and humans feel more confident and comfortable in the world by harnessing the power of sniffing and developing positive feelings through play.
We use the science of learning to make communication clear and set everyone up for success. We use positive reinforcement, both for our humans and our dogs, to promote those behaviors we like to see and find out what really works.
You betcha! The best training we can do is the training we can make time for. Instead of rushing to meet a group class or trying to find a babysitter, you and your dog can train together when it is convenient to you. You'll still get plenty of coaching, and can always schedule some one-on-one time for feedback from me!
Before becoming a dog trainer, I taught at the college level for ten years. I ushered my colleagues through the COVID pivot to online learning and have completed multiple professional development programs on effective online learning. That said, you may be totally new to taking classes online. I'm committed to guiding you through and achieving success. Plus, sometimes it's a lot more convenient and less stressful to train at home in our pajamas than in a group setting in a totally new location!
